Inspired by Ming chairs danish designer Hans Wegner created the Wishbone Chair (1949), also known as the “Y” or “CH-24,”.
The light, sculptural Wishbone Chair was the perfect opposite to the heavy designs popular at the time.
The Wishbone was always a challenge to make, requiring high levels of craftsmanship and a fine knowledge of wood joinery.
Not only is the Wishbone a design masterpiece, but it is also practical, comfortable and made to last.
Available in beech and walnut, with rattan seat.
